Dr. John C. Dolan
Dr. John Dolan grew up in Bozeman, Montana. Dr.Dolan is a full-time faculty member at New York University, College of Dentistry and Associate Director of Research and Development at NYU Bluestone Center for Clinical Research.
Dr. John Dolan was awarded a Regents’ Scholarship at the University of California, San Francisco where he completed dental school, a three-year residency in orthodontics, and a master’s degree in craniofacial sciences. At UCSF he was honored with awards from the American Association of Orthodontists and the National Collegiate Inventor’s Competition for the invention of an instrument for the study of orofacial pain.
Since 2010 he has been a full-time faculty member at New York University, College of Dentistry, and Associate Director of Research and Development at NYU Bluestone Center for Clinical Research. Dr. Dolan teaches orthodontics in the NYU Orthodontic Residency Program and also conducts scientific work supported by a Willie and Earl Shepard Fellowship from the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation.
He and his dog “Bone” spend their free time exploring tidal beaches on the East River and listening/howling to Charles Mingus.
